Bravo, what a delightful afternoon listening to the NHSO Woodwind Quintet, brought my 22 month old Grandson looking forward to another Family Concert Series
Sharon, I want to thank you and your husband for your efforts to bring this program to cancer patients. These performances help to lift my spirits with the enjoyment of theater and music instead of my worries of cancer returning.
Many thanks for Little Wonder's generosity! The opportunity to come up for air and enjoy beautiful concerts...interesting theater...a great lecture...and great sporting events including an exciting hockey game at the Whale where Yale won in overtime! Thank you for this tremendous gift!
I took my daughter and my two grandchildren to see the "Wizard of Odds" on Sun. 5/5/13 and we had such a good time. Both me and my daughter are breast cancer survivors. Thank you so much, we had a blast.
Thank you so much for providing the theater tickets to Long Wharf. It was such a generous gift to spend an evening out with my family and to feel like life is beginning to return to normal, even for just a few hours. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Long Wharf's production was top notch, the actors surperb and the staff especially helpful. I sincerely appreciate your generosity and my family and I cannot thank you enough.
What a perfect way to spend Mother's Day! Such a great play and I'd never before been to the Westport Country Playhouse--it's such a wonderful venue. I really appreciate the generosity both of Little Wonder and the Westport Country Playhouse for giving this tremendous gift!
I really appreciate the wonderful work you do. For myself, all I can say is that these events have brought such joy to me and my family. It's an opportunity to share very special times together. Thank you again!
We had front row seats for the Broadway Backstage show at the Ridgefield Playhouse. We had never been to that venue before and really enjoyed this show with fabulous singers. What a great evening-we will definitely go back!
An unexpected benefit of Little Wonder has come from the frequent option of getting more than two tickets. Being able to invite others along has enabled me to renew old friendships at a time when they are most needed.
The Little Wonder program has really been a terrific spirit lifter. What a great idea! My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous performance of "The Dining Room" at the Westport Playhouse; and an equally excellent and enjoyable "Clybourne Park" at Long Wharf . There's nothing "little" about the difference Little Wonder makes...it's a big help. Thank you Little Wonder!
Thank you for a fun night out at the Ridgefield playhouse were we attended the GoGo's concert. What a breath of fresh air to be able to take a cancer break to relax and stroll down an 80's memory lane! Pleas thank the ticket donors for us.
Thank you, Festival of Arts And Ideas, for making tickets available to Little Wonder to pass on to cancer patients.I used one to see the performance of Midsummer Night's Dream, and it was such a delight for its new take on an old classic. I know others will appreciate your generosity.
My wife and I would like to thank Little Wonder and the Long Wharf for allowing us the pleasure of an evening out. It is not easy for a patient sometimes to go out, but in this case I made the extra effort to see this show. . In fact the last song which is Stand by Me should be used for each caregiver and cancer patient. We wish to thank Little Wonder and the Long Wharf for an evening of being able to Stand together.
Little Wonder has given my me and my caregiver wife the opportunity to have a fun evening together. Thank you Little Wonder and Thank you Long Wharf for this gift. We enjoyed each other and the show.
Attended Smokey Joes café show sat. nite. Thanks very much Long Wharf for the donated tickets. The show was awesome as always. Thanks. Thanks Little Wonder for the opportunity to be part of this program. thanks
I went to see Smokey Joe's cafe at Long Wharf this past weekend and had the BEST time! What a wonderful gift this was from Little Wonder. I don't think they or their sponsors could ever know how much it is appreciated. Thank you.
Again, this program that you started, Little Wonder, is very much appreciated. It is doing what it was intended to do, makes one forget what they recently went through. I wish all the patients at Smilow can take advantage of this program.
This was a wonderfully entertaining show, with great choreography, and songs. Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to get out, and get my mind off ongoing chemotherapy treatments , and recovery from cancer surgery ! The show was delightful.
Not lucky to be cancer patients but to have this wonderful program available to us and donors like Long Wharf Theater and Downtown Cabaret and all the others to help us remember that we can still laugh and enjoy. Thank you for helping us maintain our positive attitudes. We are ever so grateful !
Attended the play at Westport Country Playhouse, OBVILION. The performance was excellent, as all shows have been. Thank you very much for the donation of tickets for us Cancer Survivors. It is greatly appreciated.
We had a wonderful, much needed night out and your gift of tickets to a super show at a wonderful venue was perfect!
Thank you Little Wonders for giving us a night out.
I just saw Oblivion at the Westport Playhouse last Saturday. I'd never been to that theater before, and now I don't know what took me so long! The space is warm and inviting with excellent sight lines from any seat. The play was engaging, well paced, and well acted. Thank you Little Wonder for this opportunity!
We went to see the tribute to the Rolling Stones The show was great thank you very much...
The show was terrific. It was a very enjoyable evening. Your organization made it possible for us to have a wonderful evening out. It was much appreciated especially now when my husband has been having such a difficult time.
Thanks to the generosity of DCT and Little Wonder,I saw "The Man in Black" this past weekend. 2 hours of wonderful music and total enjoyment. Great for healing everything!
Please know that my family and I are very grateful for this service. What better way to lighten the load of cancer than to attend a show that helps the whole family share a positive moment together? Thanks.
I had the best time seeing "The Man in Black" at the DCT. Most enjoyable to spend 2 hours listening to great music and having fun. We can all use a little of that in our lives.
Totally enjoyed last night's performance of "The Underpants" at Long Wharf Theater. Thanks to Little Wonder for this wonderful opportunity to escape for 90 minutes.
I WAS AMAZED THAT THIS ORGANIZATION WAS SET UP JUST TO LIFT THE SPIRITS OF THOSE OF US WEATHERING THE CANCER JOURNEY. YOU ALSO MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO INVITE FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WE WENT TO A MATINEE AT THE WESTPORT COUNTRY PLAYHOUSE AND WE ENJOYED THE ENVIRONMENT, THE SHOW AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE IMMENSELY. IT WAS A VERY ENJOYABLE AND UPLIFTING DAY, THANKS TO YOU SHARON, YOUR HUSBAND AND YOUR GENEROUS DONORS. IT’S A WONDERFUL CREATION.
"Middlesex Hospital referred me to Little Wonder because they felt it was a worthwhile program and indeed it is a wonderful creation. This raises our spirit during our cancer journey. Sharon, thank you and your husband, your donors and your partners. This is extreme thoughtfulness and generosity. We went to the Westport Country Playhouse and I must say it was well worth the two hour ride. Thank you all."
We would like to thank the Ridgefield Playhouse for giving us the opportunity to see The Preservation Hall Jazz Band through the Little Wonder program. We were very surprised to learn how many top performers come to the Playhouse, a medium-sized venue with reasonable ticket-prices. We will return.
Thanks to little wonder, I was able to take my kids to see the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus last night, and it was wonderful!!! Having time away from chemotherapy treatments to sit back and laugh was an excellent experience for us all. Thank you so much!!
To be able to go to the theater...for free! The enchanting musical I saw last Saturday lifted my heart and my spirits. My sincere thanks to Little Wonder and the Shubert. I couldn't have enjoyed it without you.
Just when we were at our lowest after getting a devastating diagnosis, Smilow Cancer Center and Little Wonder gave us the greatest gift - a night out for my wife and myself with Todd Rundgren at Ridgefield Playhouse. This was what we needed, when we needed it. Thank you so very much. Keep up the wonderful work because it helps in ways you cannot imagine.
